Although we’ve been in the business for a long time, the name Datamaster Ltd only appeared in 1997 when we became fully independent and moved to our current location in Warrington. The proximity to the main motorway networks was a key factor in this decision.

At that time, the main manufacturing side of our business was contracted out and production equipment gave way to PC workstations. This was a radical change to our business but was needed in order for us to remain competitive but more importantly it gave us more time to focus on product and software development.

The move from an upmarket 2000 square foot location on a technology park to 500 square foot unit on an industrial estate wasn’t easy but the truth was we just didn’t need that sort of space.The savings from this coupled with the fact that we don’t employ any sales staff or agents makes it possible for us to keep our overheads low and thus be able offer extremely competitive pricing.

Without the production headaches,the company has moved forward considerably and now offers a much wider range of products and services.
